Basically, export is done in two ways: The finished product and raw materials
If we want to have an export with low capital and high profitability, based on the objectives of the export-led industrialization strategy, our exports should be manufactured or processed as final products. But this strategy is a big risk because you have to compete with goods from industrialized countries that have superior technology, better trained workforce, higher initial capital and more liquidity. But despite all these difficulties, we still believe that the export of raw materials has very low effectiveness and profitability and is not rational.
This is where an export consultant can have a significant impact and role in success and risk reduction by analyzing global markets for the export of your desired product.
As long as there is a question of exporting with little capital, the choice of goods becomes more sensitive. Everyone chooses the desired product or export product based on a certain criterion, but what is certain is the profitability and justification of the purchase to sale price, the main option in choosing that product.
But in order to choose and justify the profitability of the product, you must be able to give a logical answer to the following questions and then make the final decision according to your answers:
How much information do you have about the selected product?
How perishable is that product?
How many suppliers do you know for this product?
How reputable are you among these suppliers?
Is the selected product native to your area?
How far is the warehouse from the factory and production site?
In how many target countries do you know buyers for your product and do you know anyone?
Definitely, the product we choose for export should be based on the potentials and capacities available in the country. But in fact, your main criterion for choosing a product should be the ability of your region or city, and whether your product and goods can be exported to a market of eight billion people? Not what is going on in the Chamber of Commerce and whether this product or product will be exported or not.
There may be an unknown product that brings good profitability in the field of export, but has not been paid attention to, in other words, it may be an export product with economic justification.
